I have always loved flowers, gardening etc., I had the opportunity to work at our local greenhouse and was asked if I would like to also design and do floral work. I learned the business and after 5 years I decided to open my own shop to be able to spend more time with my family. |
Having the knowledge, hard work and dedication to the profession I was able to build my business doing weddings, funerals and all occasions. I have now been a florist for 22 years and still love what I'm doing. Stay up to date on local trends but also keep doing what your older clients wants and likes are is very important. |
I feel my compassion for what I do and the repport I've built with my customers is the most important. Over the years I know what they want and like as well as connecting with them for yearly events and holidays. |
I work mainly on my own with the exception on Holidays like Valentines Day, Mothers Day, I get help from family and friends! |
Every year I do Petal it Forward where I go out in the community and hand a random person two bouquets, one for themselves and one to give away. I also donate to multiple benefits and charities. |
